About Me

I am a graduate of Rudy & Kelly Academy - A Paul Mitchell School in Virginia Beach, VA. I have been in the hair industry for over 16 years as a stylist and over 19 years as a salon professional. I have studied under top JPMS hairstylists such as Kelly Cardenas and have furthered my education with classes from industry platform artists Colin Caruso, Takashi Kitamura, Stephanie Kocielski, Noogie Thai, and many many others. I believe continuing education keeps my passion for this industry alive and that translates into my work with my clients.

Behind the chair, I tend to shun the cookie-cutter approach for a more personalized & polished style that brings out the best in each and every one of my clients. I am a very honest and transparent hair stylist. 

As the owner of The Prism Collective, I value a fun, professional and vibrant salon environment that supports my commitment to delivering above and beyond services. I encourage diversity & individuality and promote an atmosphere where everyone is celebrated for their different styles! No two clients will ever walk out of my salon with the same hair. 

When I'm not behind my chair, you can find me fostering dogs with local rescues. I serve on the Board of Directors with local non-profit organization Therapet: Animal Assisted Therapy. I foster with the SPCA of East Texas and serve on many event-planning committees in Tyler. I hold two degrees in Psychology & Criminal Justice. A favorite day out of the salon would be to hang outside after a delicious Sunday brunch, reading on my hammock or in the pool in the back yard with my dogs.
